Pt. Bhimsen Joshi is considered as greatest vocalist who ever walked on the earth. Well, I do not necessarily agree with that, but certainly, I agree that he is certainly one of the best we had. I grew up listening to Pt. Bhimsen Joshi. To be precise, I am listening to his music right from when I was in the womb of my mother. Till I passed 12th standard, he was the only vocalist whose music I had listened and appealed me.
Then I listened to many more musicians and the list changed a bit; still, Pt. Nhimsen Joshi is undoubtedly the most seasoned vocalist we ever heard.
